Two
of a Kind
is a little puzzle cut in
my Standard Cut.
Features polar bears in
the snow, will be a small
challenge due to pieces
being similar in color.
There is
an average of 1.9 pieces
per square inch. Puzzle
has been hand cut from 1/4"
5-ply baltic birch. I cut
this puzzle by hand
carefully guiding the
wood into the thin blade
of a scroll saw, cutting
off one piece at a time,
using blades with a
thickness of just 0.008!

Five
figurals
including my "key"
signature piece (signed,
numbered, and dated on
the back). Highly
interlocking overall (entire
puzzle can be picked up)
although not every piece
is fully interlocking.
Had some
mounting problems where
some of the print was
insufficiently glued. As
a result, I reglued some
of the paper to the board
as I was cutting. Very
time consuming but I
believe I got most or all
of it. If any paper knobs
lift it is easily
remedied by putting a
tiny dab of glue on the
end of a toothpick to
reglue the paper to the
wood. Some minor chipping
on backside. Greatly
reduced price reflects
these minor flaws. You
may or may not notice
them.

Puzzle will
come disassembled inside
a beautiful hand made and
finished oak wood
box shown below.
My label is affixed to
the front of the box with
the puzzle title, number,
and piece count.

not meant for young
children.
